Privacy Policy

The short version

Slap Card is a local-first flashcard app with no account system. Your decks, cards, review history, images, and backups stay on your device. We do not collect personal data from the app. The only way we receive anything from you is if you choose to email us for support.

Your content stays on your device

Cards, decks, study history, images, and backups live in the app's local storage on your iPhone. We do not collect, transmit, or store your library on our servers. There is no Slap Card account and no server-side copy of your content.

Slap Card does not sync via iCloud or CloudKit. Moving to a new phone means exporting a backup from Settings and restoring it on the new device. Backups are written to a Files-visible folder on your device — they are yours to keep and share.

Data Not Collected

In App Store Connect terms: Data Not Collected. The shipped binary does not send analytics, crash reports, advertising identifiers, support tickets, or library content to us or to third-party backends. There is no in-app support-ticket system and no Supabase / Netlify Functions / Telegram pipeline tied to the app.

Support — email only

If you need help, email jessyka@slapforge.com. Whatever you put in that email is just ordinary email correspondence. We use it only to respond to you. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or build a profile from it. Ask us to delete a support thread anytime at the same address.

Purchases

Slap Card Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles the transaction; we receive only the anonymous entitlement status needed to unlock Pro. We never see your payment details.

AI card drafts & imports

On supported devices with Apple Intelligence, Pro can draft cards on-device — that generation does not leave your device. Importing Anki, Quizlet, or CSV files is also fully on-device; the file is not uploaded anywhere.

Children

Slap Card is not directed at children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal data, and support is email-only at your discretion, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child emailed us, contact us and we'll delete the message.

App Store privacy label

Our App Store privacy nutrition label is Data Not Collected, matching the shipped binary: no accounts, no analytics SDK, no cloud sync of your library, and no in-app telemetry.

This website

This marketing site may use privacy-respecting analytics that count anonymous page views. It does not track you across other sites and sets no advertising cookies.

Changes

If this policy materially changes, the date above changes and the new version lives at this URL.
